Working on my Commercial Flight Rating. I'll be up flying around trying to get another 95 hours! Hopefully I'll be ready to go by early summer!

Private Pilot License - 10/2006

Instrument Pilot License - 10/2007

I'm a IFR rated pilot!

I started working on my IFR Flight Training in December of 2006 in a Cessna 172 Skyhawk with Maxair in Appleton.  My flight instructor left for Northwest Airlines towards the end of April so it was off to find another instructor.  I have moved my flight training over to Pearl Aviation in Appleton.  Jim Uher is my current flight instructor (retired captain from Air Wisconsin) and we have completed several very successful hours in his simulator and in the Archer 2283Q with the Fox Valley Flying Club.  I have completed the required Cross Country and simulated instruments hours as of July 4th and I'm now finishing up the ground school.  The Instrument material is a lot more in depth then the private pilot ground school.

Upcoming Milestones:

Late July - Instrument Written Test : I passed my instrument written test in Early August!
October 2007, Passed my IFR checkride!
